Discussions around mental health tend to require careful handling. Being depressed, anxious, sad, or lost is a concept that is hard imagining.
How is it that I live my life, do everything by the book, and still feel despondent and or anxious? What about the service I give to others, the love that I share, and my desire to be the best person I can be and yet I still feel suicidal? Or simply, why do I feel this way and will I ever out this pit? And often times the pit experience is so tough and arduous, we forget that we still have breath. Breath is a symbol that we are still here and if we are still here, there is a chance to better. We forget to breathe. We also forget to embrace the life that we have, because the strength that we need lies within us. We forget to Just BE.
This is why Breathe and Embrace was created. To remind all who encounter this platform to Just BE.
What is Breathe and Embrace?
Breathe and Embrace is a dedicated organization that emphasizes the importance of mental well-being. Our mission is centered on the significance of breathing as a constant reminder of life's plentiful offerings and the need to accept ourselves as the primary source of resilience needed for our individual journeys.
Why is BEing important?
Being on our mental health journeys is important because it's a part of the holistic approach to well-being. It enables us to be strengthened, confident, and aware, which is important for personal success. This journey is unique to every individual and being is linked to our sense of purpose in why we are here and how to navigate that very journey. The journey towards well-being is not necessarily about specific activities we do, but rather an outcome of the decisions and choices we make for ourselves. It's a positive step towards greater well-being and an abundant life.
Over the years, Breathe and Embrace has touched many lives, facilitated open discussions about mental health, and invited professionals in the field of mental health to impart their expertise and insights. Breathe & Embrace is not another avenue deep philosophical discourse, but it is a real, transparent platform that will share authentic experiences and provides resources and guidance for the mental health journey.
It is the hope that this platform will provide hope and remind everyone that they are not alone on their journey to healing. Welcome to Breathe and Embrace!
